The 22nd Research Institute of China Electronics Technology Corporation (CETC) is the only national professional research institute in China engaged in the observation and research of radio wave environmental characteristics. In mid May 2022, technicians from 22 institutes brought workpieces to our company for sampling. This sample is a satellite receiver shell made of all aluminum material with a thickness of 4mm. The gap between the workpieces is greater than 1.5mm, and the weld bead width is required to be greater than 6mm. It is required to weld on one side and form on both sides, and the weld bead must be smooth and consistent in shape. We have tried similar equip- ment in the industry but cannot meet the welding standards. Through promotion, we have learned that our wide welding bead technology meets its welding requirements. Therefore, we have brought the workpiece for testing. After debugging and sampling by our technical personnel, the welding requirements of the customer were met. The on-site personnel of 22 institutes were very pleased and successfully placed an order for one 2000 watt foreign trade version laser welding machine from our company.
